Watercolors
I did not expect to like watercolors. I had a weird bias about it for some reason during my art school years. Let’s blame that on maturity. But after getting reintroduced to it through my daughter and wife I have very much enjoyed the softness and the literal, and figurative flow that only watercolor can provide. I move fast with watercolors, which helps me get out of my own way so that my intuition can take over to express the concept and form I see and feel.
