Paintings

I approach my painting work a bit like I do a mixed media collage in my visual journals. I see the shapes and the contrast of values first and then fill in the blanks. I like to squint and see the colors and composition that are barely there, and then I like to accentuate them. I make up a lot of stuff too and use a lot of intuition at times.

All frames are made of maple with a floating, modern profile — also available unframed upon request.
